Contemporary Concept of Community

The concept of housing planning and design in an ideal neighborhood is mainly driven by the idea of live, work and play within walking distances from the living units with the emphasis of creating funky and interesting design, aesthetically pleasing.

Different housing types are created to provide the diversity and affordability. Schools and social centers are located within walking distances of the neighborhood to enhance the concept of the educational oriented development.

Housing in the block enhances the importance of roofs as a great tool to create sustainability, social integration and belonging among neighbors. Housing units are generally town houses in design with four or more stories each. Every four units are grouped to utilize the roof design configuration, and to create the concept of the block within the block. Every housing compound (four units) will include retail stores, water cisterns to sore rainfall water, green roofs for adults and kids, roof gardens, and shared kitchens.
